We Ride Again

As the world begins to reopen after the global effort to limit the spread of Covid-19, the Repsol Honda Team pairing of Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez have been able to transition towards how they would normally train. Following all the guidelines and safety recommendations of the government and health experts, the two riders from Cervera returned to cycling outdoors in early May.

Now, after having not ridden a motorcycle since March 11, the pair have been able to restart their engines and enjoy the feeling that only riding can give at the ‘El Bosquet’ Circuit in Ponts on Tuesday, May 19. Delighted to experience this sensation once again, Marc and Alex will continue to expand and alter their training in line with government advice as they eagerly await the return of the MotoGP World Championship alongside the entire Repsol Honda Team.

Grab, Manila provide thousands of livelihood opportunities to help Manileños recover from the pandemic

Grab Philippines together with the City government of Manila, has announced its partnership which aims to leverage on Grab’s platform, and provide livelihood opportunities to thousands of Manilenos who have been greatly affected by the pandemic, thus helping them recover from the impacts of the pandemic.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Grab has launched its GrabBayanihan program with the aim of helping Filipinos respond and recover from the pandemic. While GrabBayanihan has delivered protection and support to Filipinos during the early stages of the pandemic, Grab is again calling on the spirit of bayanihan – this time through local government partners across Metro Manila.  At least 20,000 displaced workers and tricycle drivers, and 5,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to benefit from this socio-economic recovery initiative and will be able to bounce back from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grab launches “Sagot Kita” Campaign to Help Filipinos Adapt to the New Normal

  • In celebration of it’s 8th anniversary, Grab is bringing back experiences that Filipinos miss the most, and fulfilling requests they missed out on during the lockdown to help them cope with the new normal
  • As the Philippine embraces the new normal, Grab is also giving away over 100 deals and promos on GrabFood, GrabExpress, GrabMart, and more to help Filipinos do more and get the things they need at the comforts of their homes

Adapting to the new reality will take some time, especially with daily routines drastically altered. Things are no longer as simple as it once was. Going out during weekends, meeting friends over coffee, getting a quick milk tea fix— all of these are now hampered by the various safety precautions.

As Southeast Asia's leading everyday super app, Grab is helping Filipinos adapt to the new normal by becoming their everyday partner.
