JDI seals partnership with Rotam CropSciences Ltd. for distribution of crop protection products

Jardine Distribution Inc. recently sealed a partnership with Rotam CropSciences Ltd., a fast-growing international organization that focuses on crop protection products or agrochemicals, to ensure that Filipino farmers have continuous access to world-class products that aid them in maximizing their harvest.

Rotam, which is composed of 59 companies that operate in over 65 countries worldwide, is offering in the Philippines the Methomyl insecticide—one of its most successful products. Locally known as MetoMight, the insecticide will be distributed by JDI as part of its impressive portfolio of insecticides.

Water Plug fast-setting cement, also known as Masterseal 590, distributed by Jardine Distribution, Inc. (JDI) and manufactured by BASF Construction Chemicals Singapore, recently became ‘NSF certified’.

The certification is awarded by The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) International, one of today’s most respected independent product testing agencies, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

James Hardie: 'HardieFlex fiber cement is tried-and-tested, durable, of high quality'

The National Housing Authority (NHA) has confirmed that it was incorrect in citing James Hardie’s “HardieFlex®” in ABS-CBN’s recent Failon Ngayon episode as the brand of fiber cement boards used in the wall system for the construction of substandard houses built for victims of Yolanda. 

The said episode, which aired on November 5, 2016, focused on the various issues surrounding rehabilitation projects being undertaken in Tacloban, Leyte, and in other areas devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan) three years ago.
