In celebration of a fruitful 2017, trusted agro industry leader Jardine Distribution, Inc. (JDI) indulged its loyal distributors and dealer partners in a fun-filled, week-long Asian cruise aboard Costa Cruises Italy’s Costa Fortuna, which set sail from Hong Kong to Naha in Okinawa, Japan.
The JDI-sponsored event, dubbed “All Aboard! Amazing Asian Cruise,” took place from Nov. 21 to 26, 2017 and drew 250 enthusiastic distributors and partners from different parts of the country.
JDI President Edwin Hernandez says the cruise was a fulfillment of a trip incentive for a “very productive” 2017 for JDI and its partners. This was especially significant, coming as it did after a challenging time for the company and its partners due to weather and productivity problems that afflicted the agro industry during the previous year.
“The Amazing Asian Cruise was JDI’s way of giving back to our valued distributors and partners who contributed towards a successful 2017,” says Hernandez. “We felt that these hardworking men and women deserved some pampering and a most memorable break even just for a week.
