Bayad Empowers MSMEs with Bills Payment and Loading Business

Paying bills is an inevitable part of life, and it always gives us a great sense of relief once we are able to settle them on time.

This is why Bayad, the country’s pioneer brand in the outsourced bills payment collection service, has become even more proactive in its expansion efforts of bringing one-stop-shop financial services closer to Filipinos.

Apart from providing customers’ assurance that their household utilities won’t get cut off, they can also settle their government contributions, cover for their insurance premiums, load for tollway RFID services, load their prepaid and postpaid accounts, and even settle their loans in just one go.

Furthermore, all these services are not just offered at Bayad Centers, but are also offered via Bayad App (Bayad’s mobile application), via Bayad Online (Bayad’s website application), and via Bayad Partners (leading over-the-counter and digital payment channel providers).

With its continuous development as a multi-service fintech institution, Bayad launches Bayad Asenso, an easy-to-operate business payment solution that is embedded within the Bayad App.

Bayad Aseno aims to empower MSMEs into becoming Bayad Agents, essentially transforming their sari-sari stores, eateries, pet shops, water refilling stations, and other small business establishments into payment centers.

PLDT, Converge, Globe, SkyCable, Cignal, Home Credit, Manulife, Sun Life, SSS, Pag-IBIG, Smart, Easytrip and Autosweep RFID, Meralco, Maynilad, Manila Water, and other electric and water utility billers in regional areas such as Davao Light, Cotabato Light, Albay Power, CAGELCO, BATELEC, ISELCO, ANTECO, LEYECO, PANELCO, VECO, Subic Enerzone,  Bocaue Water District,  Laguna Water, Legazpi Water, Balibago Waterworks, Subic Water, Tagum Water District, Carmona Water District, and many others are now already being processed by Bayad Agents.

As Bayad reaches out to the community level, the company does not only preserve the value of its bricks-and-mortar business but also equally promotes digital transformation to cater to the ever-changing needs of Filipinos from all walks of life.

Bayad's President and CEO, Lawrence Y. Ferrer shares “We believe in empowering every Filipino entrepreneur as we foster financial inclusion and help build economic resilience in the country.”
