VinFast Philippines Earns Sole Automaker Commendation at the Joint Opening of the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting and 2026 ASEAN Energy Business Forum

VinFast Philippines was the sole automaker that received a commendation for its contribution to advancing cross-border electric mobility through investments and strategic partnerships  during the recently-concluded Joint Opening Ceremony of the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM44) and the 26th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF26).

The recognition reinforces VinFast Philippines’ role in supporting ASEAN’s broader energy and sustainability agenda by making electric mobility more accessible and helping expand the adoption of battery electric vehicles in the Philippines. The award also acknowledges the company’s contribution to advancing regional energy cooperation and supporting ASEAN’s shared pursuit of a secure, resilient, interconnected, and sustainable energy future, in line with the Philippines’ ASEAN 2026 Chairship theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together.”
