Over 100 FedEx volunteers celebrated Earth Month through a tree planting activity in San Miguel, Bulacan.
Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world's largest express transportation companies, marked Earth Month with a community-based tree-planting initiative in the Sierra Madre mountain range, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and reforestation.
On April 11, 2026, more than 100 FedEx volunteers collaborated with the GreenEarth Foundation, to plant 2,000 malunggay (moringa) trees in San Miguel, Bulacan, covering an estimated 5,000-square-meters. Native to the Philippines, the malunggay tree was selected for its resilience, rapid growth, and nutritional and environmental benefits, making it ideal for long-term forest restoration and community livelihood support.
