Toyota is sustainable mobility partner for AP disaster risk conference

The industry leader, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), announces its role as one of the official mobility partners for the 2024 Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR), hosted by the Philippines in partnership with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR). The conference, taking place from October 14-18, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City, will gather around 3,000 global leaders and delegates to address critical disaster risk reduction strategies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Anchored on the spirit of FUN TO DRIVE, TMP continues its mission to provide Filipinos with ever-better cars through motorsports, where racers and race cars alike are pushed to the limits for better. The mobility company launched its racing series in 2014 as the Vios Cup, showcasing the capability of the locally made Vios as a race car. Toyota inaugurates new Service Centers in Koronadal, Danao

FEU nurtures next generation of Filipino teaching professionals

As part of the Teacher Training Caravan, a teacher engagement workshop on curriculum alignment, SOLO taxonomy, and outcomes-based assessment for student-centered learning is held at FEU Roosevelt Academic Affairs Office.

The need for more efficient teaching practice and professional teacher development take up a huge chunk of the Philippine education crisis conversation, as made evident in a 2023 World Bank report. This calls for education institutions to invest in programs and initiatives focused on equipping the next generation of Filipino educators.
