Bayad bags Gold and Bronze awards for its 2021 marketing breakthroughs

Highlighting excellence as part of the organization’s DNA, Bayad was presented with 2 major accolades during the inaugural Marketing Excellence Awards in the Philippines through a virtual awards ceremony last January 28.

The Marketing Excellence Awards is an end-to-end award programme in Southeast Asia designed to reward and celebrate outstanding work from across the marketing communications spectrum. As it brings its unique methodology to the Philippines, it has become a premier platform for marketers to highlight their creative excellence, successful strategies, and effective delivery.  

Judged by an independent panel of industry leaders and marketing experts, Bayad was conferred with the Gold Excellence Award in the Integrated Marketing Category for its “You Can Bayad All” campaign.

The “You Can Bayad All” campaign amplifies Bayad’s transition from an over-the-counter payment center, formerly known as Bayad Center, to what is now the biggest and widest multi-channel payment platform in the country to date, offering a suite of financial products and services to individuals and businesses alike.

Adding to its laurels that night was Bayad’s Bronze Excellence Award for its rebranding event, entitled “Bigger, Better, Younger Bayad “, in the Launch/Relaunch Marketing Category.

This rebranding initiative articulates Bayad’s purpose of empowering Filipinos by elevating their financial experience, helping them live responsibly, and raising their standard of living.

“These awards are a humble recognition of our continuous drive for excellence in everything that we do in Bayad. It inspires us even more to collaborate and strengthen our advocacies on financial literacy and inclusion, especially in this period of rebuilding”, says Wendell Kristian P. Labre, Head of Corporate Branding & Marketing Services for Bayad. 

Dennis S. Gatuslao, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer of Bayad, highlights the awards as testament of Bayad’s level of service to its customers, “As the pioneering brand for payments, we make sure that we understand deeper the ever-changing needs of our customers, not only satisfying them but delighting them in the process, and these awards prove that we are on the right track.”

Bayad’s President and CEO Lawrence Y. Ferrer also shared, “We are deeply honored for these recognitions.
