Stressed? Find out more about it; and why nutrient replenishment is important when experiencing stress

Being stressed can be very challenging— we tend to miss our meals, have lack of sleep and relaxation, and don’t get to enjoy quality time with the people who matter. But, because we must continue with our daily life despite the stress, we tend to ignore the physical and mental effects of stress on our body for the sake of our goals.

Because of stress, it's possible that the nutrients in your body have started to be depleted. Overthinking may cause the vital nutrients in the brain nerves to be affected, which can cause you to lose focus and become distracted. The lack of nutrients because of overwork can make you feel more tired than usual, and you appear pale and ill which could be the source of your unhealthy skin.

5 Easy, Hassle-Free Tips For Home Cleaning

For busy people, regularly cleaning the home can be considered a burden. Dust seems to settle quickly, there’s always something to clean, and clutter piles up every day. That doesn’t have to be the case. With just a few simple tips, it’s possible to keep homes clean every day.

Here are tips to keep in mind:

1. Have a consistent, centralized system. A cleaning routine makes the chore easier and more manageable. Is it more realistic to clean little by little throughout the week or set aside a day during the weekend to spruce up the place? It’s also a good idea to determine which rooms need more attention so they can be cleaned more frequently.

Vibal Foundation Publishes Correos Filipinas: Philippine Stamps and Postal History

Vibal Foundation, Inc. (VFI) continues its commitment and vision to enrich Filipinos' knowledge and appreciation of Philippine history, culture, and the arts by launching  Correos Filipinas: Philippine Stamps and Postal History on January 31, 2022 at VFI’s monthly virtual tertulia.

Correos Filipinas: Philippine Stamps and Postal History

Jose Eleazar Bersales' Correos Filipinas: Philippine Stamps and Postal History (1565–1953) comprehensively presents Philippine history from the 16th to the mid-20th century through the perspective of the stamps issued and used. This newest addition to the Filipiniana Clasica collection serves as a valuable resource for specialist collectors, history buffs, and casual readers who intend to immerse themselves in understanding the colonial-era philately.

The postal history of the Philippines reflects a decades-long colonial regime and is intertwined with native responses that came along with it. The use of stamps corresponded to the development of modern postal services that were institutionalized and supported by the state. The book encompasses a rich timeline and provides side stories and supplemental sections on postal stationery, postcards, wrappers, and envelopes for better historical context.

First-time parents Elisse and Mccoy reveal Pampers Overnight as the solution to their sleepless nights

They also shared some of their parenting struggles and promoted equal parenting with fellow parents Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro

A few days ago, netizens and fans expressed their support to new parents Elisse Joson and Mccoy de Leon after seeing the couple’s cryptic posts on Facebook and Instagram stories, hinting that both had enough already.

After much probing, we found that the real cause was the couple’s lack of good night sleep. While most people can relate to having sleepless nights, first-time parents like Elisse and Mccoy are nodding their heads and saying, “We hear you.”

Parents’ Partner for Uninterrupted Sleep

McLisse, in a Pampers Power Parents Show Facebook Live with Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro on Monday, revealed that they had to wake up in the middle of the night to their daughter, Felize McKenzie, crying because of the discomfort and leaks caused by the previous diaper brand they were using. They recalled that the most difficult time for them was during Felize’s first six months – Elisse would get up in the middle of the night to feed and to change diapers multiple times. To prevent this from happening again, Elisse and Mccoy have taken shifts in changing Felize’s diapers which eventually left the couple tired, frustrated and not having enough sleep. For working parents like Elisse and Mccoy, a restful sleep is important. And when your baby is uncomfortable and does not get enough sleep, that also means that the whole family does not either.

Get Ready for Summer! 5 Fun Bonding Home Activities

Samsung Digital Appliances can make summers at home more exciting

Summer usually means heading to the beach or any outdoor destination, but families can also have fun when they’re at home. With a little creativity, imagination, and help from Samsung Digital Appliances, they can turn summer at home into a fun bonding activity for everyone.

Here are just some things families can do in the comfort of their own home:

1. Play outdoor games. It’s nice to soak in the sun every now and then. If families have space in their backyard, they can play fun relay races or even paintball.

A day outdoors means sweat and other stains, so it’s important to have a powerful washing machine to get clothes fresh and clean like the Washer Dryer Combo that uses Eco Bubble™ technology to efficiently clean clothes. Detergent is turned into bubbles, which quickly penetrates fabric to remove dirt while preserving its color and texture.

Cigarette smoking and the pandemic: why e-cigarettes and their regulated use is seen as the way to stem tobacco use

The ongoing pandemic has brought to the fore critical issues concerning our health – be it physical or mental – especially in a country like the Philippines that is hard hit by COVID-19. As reported by The Lancet, “the longstanding battle with infectious diseases has been compounded with the rise in non-communicable diseases due to lifestyle changes and an increase in risk behaviors.”

Among these risk behaviors, cigarette smoking can be considered one of the most detrimental to one’s health, more so in light of how tobacco kills approximately 87,600 Filipinos per—240 deaths per day—per The Union in their report.

Even more worrisome, the World Bank notes that around 25% of all deaths related to heart disease and 80% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke. Health experts also stress that smokers are at a higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 symptoms.
